A Welcome Message from our School Captains

Introducing School Leaders:  

Daisy: I’m one of your 2026 School Captains, alongside Harry, Henry, and Bonnie. I’m looking forward to running and voting for Yinnar’s Got Talent. I have always wanted this opportunity, so I will do my absolute best.

I promise to always be an aspiring leader, be a role model, and aim high in all my learning. This year, I would really like to focus on my Evaluating Learning Trait. The Evaluating Learning Trait is all about aspiring learners doing the best learning they can achieve. I would also like to work on all the GRACE core values.

Bonnie: I am one of the 2026 Yinnar Primary School Captains. This year, my goal is to make sure I am using the GRACE core values, spreading a positive attitude, and being a great role model to inspire my peers and other students at YPS.

I am looking forward to many school events, such as the ANZAC Day parade, Wheels Day, YPS Yinnar’s Got Talent, and many more. I also look forward to working closely with the teachers and, of course, Henry, Daisy, and Harry.

Harry: I’m so excited to be a Yinnar Primary School Captain this year. I am looking forward to setting a great example and upholding the GRACE core values. I can’t wait to make Yinnar Primary School an even better place! I am looking forward to working with the JSC and GRACE teams to run fundraisers and fun days where everyone can enjoy themselves. I can’t wait to visit the future Preps for next year. I’m excited to represent Yinnar Primary School and be a role model for everyone.

Henry: I am one of Yinnar Primary School’s Captains, along with Harry, Bonnie, and Daisy. I’m really looking forward to running Yinnar’s Got Talent, where the other School Captains and I will be judging. This year, I’m aiming to focus on the GRACE core values and run more fun activities. The Learner Trait I am working on this term is Connecting. I believe it is very important to be able to connect learning to previous experiences.
